Day 1, Rome/Civitavecchia, Italy - Embarkation
Civitavecchia was founded by Emperor Trajan in the 2nd century. Today this port is noted for its fine seafood and attractive monuments. Located 90 minutes away is the Eternal City of Rome. Steeped in 2,500 years of history, Rome was for many centuries the center of Western civilization. It was both the focal point of the Roman Empire and of Christendom. Landmarks such as the Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon, Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Spanish Steps are reminders of the legacy of its rich past.
Day 2, Sorrento, Italy
As your ship approaches the Sorrento Peninsula, delight in craggy cliffs draped with flowing pink blossoms.
Renowned for its serene way of life, this romantic port exudes a special magic. Its dramatic bluffs and surrounding flowered hills bid travelers welcome to a town overflowing with charm and character. It is easy to relax in this languid southern Italian atmosphere.
The sensational Amalfi Coast and the haunting ruins at Pompeii are among the region's highlights.
Day 3, Propriano, Corsica, France
Positioned in the Mediterranean Sea between France and Italy, the island of Corsica seems to offer visitors a wonderful taste of both worlds. Propriano, on the southwest of the island, proves an ideal place to savor a slice of mixed-ingredient culture, with its Church of Notre Dame de la Misericorde dominating its small city center and harbor hosting vessels ranging from modest fishing boats to luxurious yachts. Traditional houses outfitted with shops and taverns line the picturesque seaside.
Day 4, Palma de mallorca, spain
Palma de Mallorca, rich in monuments of many ages, was founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago. A magnificent rose-colored Gothic cathedral dominates the palm-fringed waterfront of its urban center. Mallorca, known as the "Island of Tranquility," is the largest and most developed of the Balearic group. Steep mountains, serene valleys and wide plains form its varied landscape. Visit the island's quaint villages and the monastery where George Sand and Frederic Chopin spent a winter.

Day 7, Le Lavandou, Franca
In the heart of the French Riviera, this charming, seaside resort town (named for Provençal lavender, naturally) is becoming increasingly popular but is still unspoiled. Dotted with wild inlets of pine, mimosa, eucalyptus and palm, the long, sandy coast and crystal-clear waters have earned its beaches Blue Flag designation, while high on the hill, its historic village center overflows with plants and flowers. Nearby, the Domaine du Rayol, aka The Mediterranean Gardens, are not to be missed.
