Buenos Aires - is the capital of Argentina and the center of the political, economic and intellectual life of the country. Iguazú Falls - nature blessed the Argentine, Brazilian and Paraguayan border with a show of her splendid talent. Iguazú Falls leaves every visitor speechless. Imagine standing a few meters away from an impressive mass of water; a total of 275 falls dropping over 70m (230ft.). Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) is the most impressive waterfall, where the falling water gives the illusion of magical rainbows. The National Park is full of exotic subtropical vegetation surrounding the falls: several plant species with giant trees, ferns, lianas and orchids, 400 species of colorful birds (toucans, parrots, woodpeckers, humming birds and butterflies, with fascinating vivid colors and designs), and other fauna such as jaguar, tiger-cat, foxes, tapir, monkeys. Iguazu National Park was designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO, while the close Jesuit Missions have been declared Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Iguazu Falls National Park is a magic place in the world recently voted as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

You will go through the road that leads to the falls, crossing the National Park as far as the Brazilian Falls. Walk along the paths following cascades and then walk along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat. You can be impressed by the first panoramic views of the falls of the Argentinean side, like the Two Sisters, Bozzeti, Superior Circuit and San Martin Island, where the movie “The Mission” was filmed. The promenade shows a complete and panoramic view of the falls.

The Tango tradition started at the end of the 19th century, and developed out of a mixture of various rhythms, which were originally danced in the poorer neighborhoods. Tango is reflecting the nostalgia and melancholy of the European immigrants and brought up some great musicians, such as Astor Piazzolla and Anibal Troilo. Transfer from the pier to one of the famous Tango Houses for dinner. Enjoy a show with music, singing and dancing. The dinner includes entrée, main course, dessert & drinks. After the tango show, return back to the ship. Arrival at the ship around midnight. El Viejo Almacen became a unique place thanks to its historic location and an authentic style nourished by popularity built through the years. Every night its doors are open to enjoy an impressive tango show performed by prominent interpreters of the tango scene, a demonstration of Andean music, as well as exquisite cuisine.

Samba on down to Rio, famous for its dramatic landscape and beach culture, easy going except for the four days of frenetic, feather-festooned Carnival. From the summits of Sugarloaf to Corcovado in the national park, there are many opportunities to take in the breathtaking natural beauty of the city. Cruises to Rio de Janeiro are not complete without a cable car ride or walking tour for 360-degree views of Guanabara Bay, the city of Niteroi, and so much more. Check out the activity at one or two of the 23 beaches, including the Copacabana and Ipanema, crowded with beautiful sunbathers and swimmers, and populated by surfers, bikers. Pull up a chair at a Churrascaria Palace, and dine on the delicious traditional regional barbecue of your choice, washed down with a Caipirinha, the national cocktail.
